I am 45, 5’4″ and 206lbs female. I do have a controlled hypothroid condition. I am so confused in how many calories I should eat to lose my weight. I had a calorie point test done which revealed I need 1207 calories per day to sustain bodily function and then it goes on to say that I need 1569 calories to do what ever it is that i do on a day to day basis (excluding exercise). So what is the Resting Metabolic Rate? 1207 or 1569!!!! Which goes into my next question. I consume

roughly 1400 to 1500 calories per day and workout 5 days per week and burn (according to my heart rate monitor) 700 calories per workout (that equates to a pound a week….supposedly) My weight is coming off a lot slower than a pound per week. Am I eating too much or not enough???? Some sites say I should eat more, some say i should eat less. :-( One site said I should eat 2400 calories per day…thats insane to me!!!!!
