I tried to lose weight two or three times over the past years without success. I realized I wanted to lose weight, but I wanted that microwave chicken patty a lot more. Inspiration came at a strange time; I was sitting on the toilet. I literally had an epiphany and decided to do something about my fitness. I changed everything about my lifestyle, became a vegetarian and consumed a fraction of what I had eaten before. One year later I’m 50 pounds lighter, twice as strong, a body fat percentage in the low

single digits and with a resolve that hasn’t weakened since. Sitting on that toilet I realized I wanted more than anything else to be healthier and I got that. You have to internalize how important a lifestyle change is to you. Try writing down everything about yourself that you want to change, why and what you are going to do about it. Constantly look at that paper and remind yourself why you want to change. Good luck to everyone!
