From Diet Blog Share: This is my first blog, I’m not really sure where to start, so I guess I will just say a little about myself. My name is Erin. I’m 24 years young, 5’10″, and 254lbs. My whole life I have been an active person. I’ve always been involved in sports and just on the go. If I said I have no clue why I am this heavy, it would be a lie. I don’t always eat the best. I like pizza and crap just like everyone else does. But, for the most part I eat pretty decent, and I only ever drink water, I hate soda and juice, yuck! So, sometimes I do wonder why my friends, who weight 100lbs, and eat everything they want including the kitchen sink, never gain weight. And me, well I eat healthy and get my workouts in, and can’t seem to get below 200lbs. I don’t ever remember being below 200lbs in my life. I was always a heavy girl. Both my parents are thin, and my sister and brother…so what happened to me??? Well instead of pondering that thought my entire life, I’ve decided to get to where I want to be. A couple of months ago I started a program called Medifast. It’s $300 dollars a month. But, over 15,000 doctors in the

world recommend it to their patients. So, I have been doing it. To date I have lost 17 pounds. But, it’s been 2 months. So, 600 BUX in exchange for 17lbs. Hmmm…I don’t think it’s worth it – I’d rather starve and save my money! With that idea out the window, I am trying this on my own for the millionth time!! I am going to eat more meals throughout the day, smaller of course. I am going to drink a load of water, and stick to veggies and meat, with some fruit once in a while. I know I am only human, so if I want to go out and have dinner or lunch with a friend, I will. But, I am going to try to make the best choice. For my workouts, I am going to try to workout at least 45 minutes, 3 times a week – I’ve been doing a program called C25K. So, that’s where I am. I’ve started my climb. My climb to a better, healthier life. I just hope someday soon I will reach the top and when I do, I will be cheering the ones right behind me on, and pulling for the ones on the ground to make the first step up!
