I’m 16 and I have diabetes type 1, so I have to use insulin, and yes insulin does make you gain weight. I gained about 30 pounds in the last 3 1/2 years(I’ve had diabetes for about 3 years now,) and if I don’t stay in shape then my diabetes can affect other organs in my body. My eyes, kidneys, etc. So today I started a low carb diet. In the morning I ate a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich with a glass of milk only about 50 carbs. Not bad, I’ve been drinking water all day long so I can stay hydrated. In the after noon for lunch I ate this delicious fish salad.
