Hello! My name is Maris and I am new to the forums here. I’m 26, 5’6 and weigh 166 pounds. My goal weight is 130 and I am starting South Beach Diet today. I think I’ll be fine skipping carbs at meals but have the tendency to be a snacker so I wanted to ask some questions here that I am hoping someone can answer! What kind of snacks do you eat? In the past when I’ve successfully dieted I’ve relied on fruit to snack

on. Specifically, what are the best SBD-friendly snacks to eat before a morning workout? Usually I have a banana or half of a granola bar (like a Luna Bar, SoyJoy, etc). I don’t like to eat anything egg-based and I just can’t see wanting veggies at 6 in the morning! Thanks for any advice you have on the SBD. I’m nervous about starting out but look forward to seeing results.
