New Findings On Mercury subject matter In Salmon
A new study published in Environmental Toxicologyand Chemistry finds that although mercury levels in both wildand farmed salmon from British Columbia are considerably below humanhealth consumption guidelines, the levels found in wild salmon werethree times higher than in farmed salmon.A large proportion of the farmed salmon consumed in the United Statesoriginates in British Columbia, Canada.
