Take your body measurements before the holiday binging begins
There is no way to escape it, the holidays are coming. While that is good news for so many reasons, think family gatherings, gift exchanges, sharing good times with loved ones, it is not good for the waist line. Ahead looms Halloween sweet sacks, gravy, pumpkin pies, cocktails and ever tightening pants. Once the eating season begins it is all too easy to simply buy a bigger pair of pants to accommodate gluttonous eating trends, but why not be proactive that year and get a leg up on things? Start now and get an accurate notion of your body measurements. next take them once or twice a month all through the holiday season, that will ensure some honesty amoung you and your increasingly luscious body parts.
To start a body measurement you will need a measuring tape. The take a moment when you are not in a rush and get bare. thereupon:
- Be certain to keep the tape parallel to the floor to ensure accuracy.
- Don’t cinch! You might feel inclined to pinch every bit of tape you can, but that will cause inaccurate measurements. Keep the tape taut but be certain no part of you oozes by the edge.
- Measure your waist at the smallest circumference. Remember every body is different. Your smallest part will be different than that of your brother, friend etc.
- Unlike the waist, measurements for the neck, buttocks, thighs, calves, biceps, and forearm should be taken around the largest circumference.
- Don’t cheat! that means no sucking in your tummy or fasting before you take measurements. Just relax and record the numbers.
