I am a 31 year old woman currently trying to lose weight after having a baby. Let me just say that i was one of those people who could eat just about anything I wanted and maintain a weight before being pregnant and had never had to lose more than 10lbs my entire life. After a difficult pregnancy with prolonged bedrest. I had 60 lbs to lose and lost the first 30 with aerobic exercise and a low fat diet. Then I hit a plateau for 4 months! I even increased the intensity of my exercise and went from 1.5 to 3 hours a day. I got a bit smaller doing this but

no weight loss. Sooooo now I am on the 4th week of starting a powerlifting routine to build strength. I am definitely getting toned and tummy fat a little decreased but no movement on the scale…. How long before I will start to see significant weight loss/fat loss with a powerlifting routine? 6 feet tall, average to small build, size 10 and 160lbs prior to pregnancy, size 12 now and current weight 190lbs. Diet less is 1600 – 2000 cals = 20% fat, 30 – 40% protein and 40 – 50% high fiber carbs Help! Any kind suggestions welcome :)
